What/Who is HER?
We are ALL HER.
We stand with other women in an effort to create Honest + Empowered Relationships

What is the HER Collective?
The HER Collective is a membership-based group that creates programming, partnerships, and opportunities for RichmondHER (non-profit) and the local community.
What is RichmondHER?
RichmondHER is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization serving an online and offline community for all Black women of all ages. Our organization aims to support Black women's professional, social, and personal growth through initiatives, programs,and service projects.
What are the HER Collective membership requirements?
Time Commitment: Membership is a 2-year minimum commitment with meetings occurring twice per month on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday. Members should expect to attend a minimum of 18 out of 24 meetings each year and dedicate a minimum of 10 hours per month for meetings, events, programming and meetups.
Age: The HER Collective plans programming for Black women of all ages — membership is open to women aged 25-45ish. Fall a little outside the range? You’re still welcome here!
Location: Members must reside in the greater Richmond area, which includes the surrounding counties.
Cost: Yearly membership dues are $360 and must be paid in full within 30 days of selection notification.
Join a Committee: Each Collective member is required to serve on at least one internal committee.

I am interested in being a member of the Collective. How do I join and when does membership open?
Membership intake usually occurs every one to two year. We anticipate adding new members in June 2025. Once the application opens on our website, details will be shared on our social media channels.
Do I need to be a member of the HER Collective to participate in events or programs
You do not have to be a member of the HER Collective to participate in HER Events. Members of the Collective work together to create public events and programs under our non-profit, RichmondHER.
How do I find out about future events?

What type of events do the HER Collective and RichmondHER host?
Our community events include meet-ups, happy hours, speaker series, networking events, day trips, book clubs, and conferences.
